Ship-to-ship transfers

A world-leader in the provision of ship-to-ship (STS) transfer services of oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) through our specialist company, Fendercare Marine, with a reputation for high safety and quality standards.

More recently we’ve invested in a market-leading liquefied natural gas (LNG) ship-to-ship system amidst growing demand for LNG and are supporting our customers in their journeys to alternative fuels.

Tankships

As one of the top performing ship management companies in terms of health and safety, James Fisher Shipping Services provices technical and crew management services to our fleet of product and chemical tankers, with capacity ranging from 3,000mt to 35,000mt.

Our vessels are chartered by James Fisher Everard, along the UK and northern European coastline carrying clean petroleum products and chemicals, including increasing volumes of biofuels. During 2022, our vessels performed 1,362 port calls carrying liquid cargoes from refineries and terminals, to major coastal storage facilities.

James Fisher has also committed to lower carbon shipping with the addition of two LNG dual-fuel IMO II tankers.

James Fisher provides marine life and environmental protection through the application of big bubble barrier (BBB) technology, a solution that can be used to flexibly reduce noise emissions during offshore development projects and protect marine life during ammunition clearance underwater blasting, as well aquaculture applications.

Our niche specialist ScanTech Offshore offers a flexible, scaleable and stackable compressed air system with air filtration that cleans and conditions the compressed air to ensure only air of medical cleanliness (class zero) goes into the sea.
